Brandi passante was a cult star after her performance on the reality show 'StorageWars' on A&E.' It also featured Jarrod Schulz, Passante's boyfriend for many years, and later husband. On the show, storage units that haven't been paid their rent within the past three months are auctioned off. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction hoping to purchase storage units at low prices. They were shocked to them that they would become reality stars. Over the course of the series they proved to be extremely shrewd bidders, and eventually emerged as the top performers on the program. Following their appearance on the T.V. reality show, the couple were capable of increasing the size of their store. Following their appearance on the show "Storage Wars," a spin off show 'Brandi and Jarrod: Married to the job" was made just for their show.
